Date: June 6th, 2012
This message is being sent to you by the Regent Square Civic Association, a not-for-profit 501(c)(4), all-volunteer community organization serving Regent Square's diverse residential and business community.
Volunteers needed to help Green-Up Regent Square! On June 16th the Black
and Gold City Goes Green campaign will be Blitzing your neighborhood! Our
campaign needs volunteers to go door-to-door in Regent Square with Blitz
Bags and talk with residents about simple actions they can take to reduce
their energy, gas, and water usage. Each Blitz Bag contains items that will
help them get on their way to greening their home. And the bags are
completely free!
Volunteers will go through a quick orientation and then be partnered up with
one or two other volunteers. We will provide food and refreshments and every
volunteer gets to take home one of our Blitz Bags!
We just had a very successful Neighborhood Blitz in Oakland and with your
help, we would like to outdo ourselves for Regent Square!
If you are interested in volunteering, please e-mail or call Virginia with
