Wilkins School Community Center

RSCA is proud to partner with the Wilkins School Community Center on a variety of events and issues. It is an excellent community resource for local residents and the entire Pittsburgh region. Even with all of our collaboration, we feel it is important to remind you that we are two separate non-profit organizations.

Since 1979, WSCC has been offering an eclectic array of classes and special events. The inexpensive classes cover a wide variety of interests that appeal to children, adults and seniors. There is wine tasting, oil painting, book discussion groups, martial arts, yoga, hip hop dance instruction and even Celtic language instruction – just to name a few!

WSCC also offers the use of its facilities to other organizations such as the Argentine dance club, “Pittsburgh Tangueros”, and is also available for rent for private parties and meetings. WSCC also has a playground outside, as well as the PlaySpace inside for members and their young children to use.

The former elementary school building is located at 7604 Charleston and S. Braddock Avenues and is maintained by an all-volunteer board of directors. Its website includes descriptions of activities, membership opportunities and current events. For further information, call 412-244-8458.
